The Department of MBA at Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology (PDIT), affiliated to VTU, Belagavi and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, organized a One Day Workshop on Career Development for Management Students. The event was held under the coordination of the Training & Placement Cell of the MBA Department.

The workshop featured a keynote session by CA Vinod Chandran, CEO from My Logic, Bangalore, a reputed organization known for career transformation and professional training. CA Vinod Chandran shared his expertise in finance, covering the latest industry trends and offering practical strategies for career growth in the financial sector.

OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP

The teaching and non-teaching staff of Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology, Hosapete, undertook an institutional visit to IIT Dharwad and BVB College of Engineering, Hubballi, on 5th March 2025. The visit was organized by the Samuthkarsh Trust, Hubballi, to facilitate academic exchange, explore research collaborations, and understand best practices in higher education institutions.

Visit to IIT Dharwad

Welcome and Orientation: The team received a warm welcome at IIT Dharwad, followed by an orientation session that provided insights into the institution’s vision, academic programs, research facilities, and collaborations with industries.

  • The team visited various departments, laboratories, and research centers.
  • Interaction with faculty members and researchers provided valuable insights into ongoing research projects.
  • The visit to the library and digital resource centre showcased IIT Dharwad’s advanced learning infrastructure.

Visit to BVB College of Engineering, Hubballi

Institutional Overview: BVB College of Engineering, a renowned institution under KLE Technological University, has a strong legacy in engineering education and research. The faculty members provided an overview of their academic initiatives and student-centric programs.

Laboratory and Research Facilities Tour:

  • The team explored cutting-edge labs in various departments such as Mechanical, Electronics, and Computer Science.
  • Demonstrations of innovative projects and start-up incubators.
  • Interaction with students working on industry-based projects.

Samuthkarsha Trust organised an interaction session at BVB Campus, Sri. Jithendra P Nayak Director General of Samuthkarsha Trust addressed the PDIT staff and he explained how qualitative and quantitate measurements of colleges are measured by the students, Parents & Society by giving this pictorial example.
