Welcome to Mechanical Engineering Department, Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology Engineering College.
We started our journey in the year 1997 and over the decades, we have grown our expertise and competence in Mechanical Engineering and Research. At undergraduate level we have programs in Bachelor of Engineering. At present we have faculties having expertise in different specializations. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart technical skills among students and promote their problem solving capabilities that include hands-on experience by the faculty.
We strive our best to ensure that all our students gain strong academic foundation where they can develop technical, leadership skills and involve themselves in extracurricular activities as well. We believe that emphasizing in these areas will make our students well equipped to take leadership roles in the near future. Students are encouraged to undertake various research projects in their academic course. Faculties of our department have authored many papers in their research fields.
