About Department

The Civil Engineering Department was started in the year 2014. The department has carved its niche in the areas of academics, research, consultancy, collaborative projects, and publications. The department has been actively involved in conducting conferences, workshops, FDP’s, Site Visits, Project Tours and several students related programs to provide a platform for sharing and spreading the latest developments in the field of Civil Engineering.

Civil Engineering as known is the oldest branch of engineering which comprises of all activities fulfilling the basic needs of the human beings. It aims at providing food, water, shelter, power and transportation. Civil engineering problems involve physical, mathematical, life, earth, social, communication and engineering sciences. It involves many other professional areas including architecture, planning, law, public health, economics, management, sociology, finance and other branches of engineering.
