Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology organized a Mental Health Awareness Session on 23 February 2026 on the topic “Youth, Mental Health & Addiction.” The session was delivered by Dr. Vinod A (MBBS, DPM, MD), Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, S.N. Medical College & HSK Hospital, Bagalkot, Karnataka.
The objective of the session was to create awareness among students about the importance of maintaining mental well-being, understanding the effects of addiction, and promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth.
During the session, the resource person discussed various important topics related to mental health and student well-being.
